Two parts of the same woman–one seemingly ‘good’, one seemingly ‘bad’--enact a love story with each other. The video opens with a Bachelor-style audition tape, in which a blonde claims to be ‘looking for love’. She meets a black-haired love interest who is ‘there for the right reasons’ and a romance novel plot ensues, in which her grasp on reality begins to slip away. Using personal narrative, trops from 1970s horror, Buddhist philosophy, concepts from Internal Family Systems Therapy and dialogue culled from reality television, the relationship unravels as they become one.
